Hot dogs for growth spurts

If your kid normally doesn't eat much and one day wants to eat 2 hot dogs for lunch and 2 hot dogs for dinner, does that mean he's going to finally grow?

Also... is 4 hot dogs in 1 day worse than 1 hot dog a day for 4 days? Am I bad mom for giving him 4 hot dogs in 1 day?
