Time and age

It is never more obvious to me than during the holiday season that our perception of time changes as we age. When I was a little kid, it felt as though Christmas would never come, but now I feel almost panicked that it is somehow mysteriously already December. I'm certain that if I blink it will be Christmas Eve.
