Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving yesterday because there was a death in Chris's extended family and his parents needed to leave today to be at the funeral this weekend. We were both saddened by the loss of family but also by our limited time with Chris's folks; however, we were grateful to still get to see them and celebrate family. We had a wonderful time together and an impressive spread of foods!

After our Thanksgiving, we even had a little mini-Christmas gift-giving since we aren't certain if we will see them around Christmas or not.
